Directions
- Preheat oven:
- Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the wet ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until the batter is smooth.
- Add dry ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring just until combined (don’t overmix).
- Add mix-ins (optional):
- Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and serve:
